About Christine A. Lautz, CSA
I am a member of the National Association of Senior Move Managers. A
Senior Move Manager is a professional who specializes in assisting older
adults and their families with the emotional and physical aspects of
relocation. Because we focus exclusively on the move process, we have
significant expertise in resources and approaches that save money, reduce
stress and produce quality results. We are staffed with employees who are
trained, insured and bonded.
I did senior move manager training in PA with Margit Novack of Moving
Solutions (www.movingsolutions.com) and in MI with LouAnne Audette of
Moving Forward ( www.movingfwd.com ).
I started my business as Shoreline Moving Assistance, LLC in 2004. In
2006 I started using the business name Moving Solutions.
I am a certified senior advisor. CSAs are a national network of
professionals who are governed by the CSA Code of Professional
Responsibility. We are trained, tested and certified on issues of importance
to seniors. CSA's are also required to take continuing education to keep
up-to-date on senior issues. As of Sept 2008, the CSA designation is now
accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA).
In June of 2007 I achieved the Certified Relocation and Transition Specialist
(CRTS) designation. CRTS is a network of certified professionals dedicated
to assisting adults 55 years and older with home relocation, reorganization
and modification.
I am currently the President of the SE CT Women's Network. I just came off
the Board of Directors for the National Association of Senior Move
Managers. I was the Secretary for two years.
Continuing Education
Continuing Education is important to me. I have attended NASMM
conferences yearly and have taken CSA classes as they have been made
available. My employees and I have had training in Alzheimer's disease.
